    To Kill A Mockingbird
    by Harper Lee
    Synopsis:

Through the Great Depression in United States in the 30s, in the southern part of US lies a sleepy town of Albama, called Maycomb. There lives the Finch family. In the summer times, Dill come to Maycomb to play with Scout (Jean Louis Finch) and Jem ( Jeremy Atticus Finch, Scout's brother, he is 4years senior of Scout). They act out clips from the books and the stories, or even stories from real life. After a while, Scout and Dill got bored of acting the same thing over and over, Jem got tired of making up stories for them to act and play. So there comes this idea of going on an advantage to the spooky house across the street called the Radley's Place.
Scout and Jem's father, Atticus Finch is a lawyer in Maycomb County. Because of the Finch's Landing, he had relationship with most of the Maycombs in blood or marriage.
Time passes, nothing seem to changed. But the three innocent and lively children had changed gradually because of the two unjusted cases that Atticus had to handled. Prejudice and discriminate against black people block peoples' views, manslaughter Tom, who is just trying to escape.
Through out these disaster that they saw, made them slowly but painstaking to unerstand adults' world full with prejudice and indifferent. To understand that how much crisis, danger and have no alternative are included in truth. Also trying to understand that the very innermost being of a 'bad people' may be innocent too.
It is always wrong to kill a mockingbird.
    Connections:
    To our classroom
Our school is an international school, which means there are children come from all over the world. We should understand each other, no bully in the hallways. Accept others culture, help them to feel comfort in this culture. No prejudice against any of us, we are all equal human being.
    To the home
Maybe for parents, they should treat their children equally in every way. Don't give special attention to on of them because he/or she is better than the others in studying, or just simply because he/she is a boy/girl.
    To the community
The society should avoid these cases of killing a mockingbird. Which means killed a actual good person by mistake or it is meant to be. Because we are all lively human being. If you have the little bit of civility, then you should take responsibility for your own mistake, instead of blaming it to someone else, and they have to risk their live for you, who may not even be related to in any ways.
    To me
The story teach me more zbout how to treat people, how is the society that we are going to enter when we grow. And to understand that everyone is equal, should be equal, but also different. So you have to view from different view, think in another posittion, then you will know who they are. Don't judge people from one.

    To the classroom:
the book reminded me of how a classroom has rules.
every class has different rules, just like how this society has a rule that all sixteen yearolds must turn pretty.
    To the home:
the reason people decided to be turned pretty, was to show how they have aged. for example some people celebrate quincenera, or bar and bat mitzvahs. the way the uglies do it, is by turning pretty
    To the world:
this book takes place in the future, after most of the community had been set into chaos.

    Connections:
To other texts: I have read a book called Perfect by Natasha Friend. It is all about a two complete opposites that become friends because they are in the same "group" for eating disorders.
To the classroom: I think that if the class makes fun of people that deeply hurts someone , leaving them to have disorders.
    To the home: Parents should
always with his Wild Turkey. be aware because you may not know when your child is doing drugs ore having eating disorders.
To me: I think people should be comfortable just the way they are, an that it shouldn't matter what others think of you. Drugs is a huge no no on my stand point, i find there is no need for them.

    ...
Alex had entered to every single room and each room had the exact room as the student’s room, all except the laundry room. The laundry room was actually a lab room, or more likely an operating room, Alex then saw Dr. Grief speaking to a man with a white coat, going with the name of Baxter, they were talking about keeping the Gemini Project a secret, but things didn’t go so well, and Dr. Grief shot Baxter.
Alex then sent immediate help with one of Smithers devices, but Alan Blunt; Alex’s boss, and Mrs. Jones decide not to send help immediately. Alex then goes to the basement, and he sees some cells were the students were kept in. Then Mrs. Stellenbosch appears behind Alex, and knocks him down unconscious. He then wakes up in Dr. Grief’s office tied up in a chair. Dr. Grief explains Alex his plans in being the most powerful man in the world. And how he cloned 16 clones of himself, and used Baxter, to change their appearances to look like the sons of the billionaires, and millionaires. Roscoe and Victor Ivanov were killed because they had noticed that their sons weren’t really their sons. So Dr. Grief sent his people to kill them both, so they wouldn’t ruin everything for Dr. Grief.

This book reminds me of the series of “Agent Cody Banks,” which is about this teenage boy that is trained to be a spy. He is to go a prep school student, and investigate about this evil scientist, that runs the ERIS organization. Cody Banks is trying to find out what evil scheme are they planning, and he has to stop it fast.
    · The similarities of both of the book and series are:
    ...
    - Both are spying on a evil scientist
    - Both go snowboarding against the attack of villains.
    ...
    the classroom:
Alex Rider has an important role to play, and he has to follow the rules and steps he is directed to. In our class, we have to respect the teacher and listen and do what we are supposed to do.
    ...
    the home:
Alex Rider is a young boy, but he is a spy. He listens to the commands he is told, and he does what he is supposed to do. In my house I can do an adventure, but I have to follow what I am told, and what I have to do, as well.
    ...
    the community:
The book also had parts were Dr. Grief was racist, and against other ethnics and races. He was against blacks being part of the African Government, and he wanted only whites to rule Africa. In our community, we should all respect other religions, ethnics, and races, and the people living around us.
